Ready, Set, Go Reception Celebrates GS Class of 2011

Yesterday, the Recent Alumni Leadership Committee (RALC) hosted a reception for the Class of 2011 at Havana Central–The West End. More than 80 students and alumni attended to celebrate the upcoming graduation and network with one another.

Dean Peter J. Awn welcomed the attendees and congratulated the students on their achievements while at GS. RALC chairman Richie Space ’05 encouraged the students to stay connected to GS and the University after graduation, and shared the benefits offered to all Columbia alumni through the Columbia Alumni Association. Associate Director for the Columbia Alumni Arts League (CAAL) Alina Girshovich ’06 offered free memberships to CAAL and shared information on upcoming arts programming.
