Alumnus Shines at Sundance Film Festival

The film was described as "a Latino music drama [that] tells the story of a street poet whose skill on the mic earns her a shot at rap stardom under the tutelage of a hit-making producer. But as her star rises, she risks losing what she values most—her family." Olmos's father Edward James Olmos co-stars in the film.
