Project STAY (Services to Assist Youth) has been transforming health care and health education for 25 years. It strives to improve accessibility, provide community outreach, and screen young adults seeking sexual and reproductive health services. Project STAY is affiliated with the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP).

Project STAY is offering free home HIV and STI testing to those who are interested. For home testing, a health educator conducts a confidential intake over the phone and helps provide support every step of the way. The HIV kit can be done at home via a mouth swab and the STI kit includes tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia which are mailed back to the hospital for processing.  Results are available 48 hours after receipt by the hospital. Services are free and confidential.
