EVQLV, an artificial intelligence-enabled technology company that is accelerating biologics discovery (and was co-founded by a GS alumnus), is seeking to hire GS students for its paid internship program, which blends real-world experience with an extensive overview of artificial intelligence, antibody drug development, and the biopharma industry—with knowledgeable mentors providing guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience.

The 2021 summer internship program, which will be remotely based, lasts 10-12 weeks in length and offers a unique perspective into a world-class bio-computation startup.

Available Positions

Position Description
EVQLV is looking for creative business minds to support their vision by strategically managing current partnerships and exploring new ones. This role works directly with the CEO and product team to support and grow the value of our technology portfolio. The Business Development & Research Intern can expect to conduct financial research, market sizing, relationship management with stakeholders, independent exploration of partnership opportunities, and general administrative support.

Position Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of the biotech industry and STEM concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be deadline-driven and have a high level of organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work well in teams, effectively manage multiple projects, and present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Must be a current student who has completed at least one year of university studies prior to internship

Time Commitment
Full-time (40 hours per week), with a minimum commitment of 12 weeks during the summer months

Position Description
EVQLV is looking for creative minds to support research and content and copywriting efforts, as well as brainstorming and executing creative and innovative ways to engage with customers, collaborators, investors, and the biotech community at large. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research on topics relevant to EVQLV (e.g., AI drug development, antibodies and biologics, the biotech industry, etc.)
  • Composing articles for publication to the company's website
  • Generating reports that include supporting tables and figures
  • Proofreading and editing drafted copy from internal teams
  • Working with executive team members to publish content related to the company's work
  • Tracking the success of the company's content efforts via analytics reporting
  • Developing an understanding of the industry and underlying technology such that you are proposing ideas for new content

Position Requirements

  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Must be deadline-driven and have a high level of organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work well in teams, effectively manage projects, and present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Must be a current student who has completed at least one year of university studies prior to internship
  • Current MBA or law students in their first or second year, and those focusing on international business IP and strategy within pharma/biotech, will be given preference

Position Description
The Contract & IP Intern will work directly with the Chief Scientific Officer and Counsel on patent research, business commercialization research, competitive landscape analysis, and market penetration research. Interns will directly advance critical EVQLV business unit objectives and analyze complex EVQLV monetization agreements with executive level professionals in the areas of IP, business, and law.
