Columbia Family Days and Homecoming

October 03, 2019

This month, the School of General Studies will welcome alumni, students, and their family members to join us for Family Days and Homecoming. The weekend includes a number of events that provide an opportunity to further connect with the entire Columbia University community.

On Friday, October 18, GS will host a day of complimentary Family Day events that include a luncheon with remarks from Dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch, a student-alumni panel moderated by Dean of Students Marlyn Delva, a faculty lecture given by Dean of the Postbac Premed Program James Colgrove, a campus tour, and much more.

On Saturday, all are invited to visit the GS table at Columbia’s Homecoming Lunch and Lawn Party to mix and mingle with GS alumni, students, staff, and Dean Rosen-Metsch, as well as snag some great GS swag, in advance of the game against Penn at Baker Athletics Complex. The celebration, which includes a buffet lunch and beer garden, is family friendly—children can enjoy outdoor lawn games, bouncy houses, and other fun activities!

To learn more, and register, visit the Family Days and Homecoming page on the GS website. We hope to see you there!
