Alumni Panelist:

Victor Black '21GS

As a part of the Dual BA Program Between Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris, Victor lived in Reims, France, for two years before coming to NYC in 2019 to finish his studies at GS. He majored in Economics at Sciences Po and Political Science at Columbia. Victor also joined the Special Concentration in Business Management. In addition to academics, he was a member of the Brazilian Society at Columbia responsible for organizing business events. Among other initiatives, he organized a conference that brought together students and startup CEOs/executives – the Brazil Innovation Roundtable. After graduating GS in June 2021, Victor joined Alvarez & Marsal in their Consumer and Retail practice. 

Mark Franklin '19GS

Mark is part of Deloitte’s Sustainability, Climate & Equity organization where he helps bring to market technology-lead environmental, social, and corporate governance solutions. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mark was with IBM where he helped to design technical offerings and services for the ESG, HR, and Financial markets, in partnership with EY. Previously, he worked at Hatch as a Consultant in their Energy and Infrastructure practice where he provided triple-bottom-line assessments, environmental and economic impact services, and technology vetting for public sector clients. Mark served in the US Army and is a 2019 graduate of Columbia GS with a BA in Sustainable Development.

Andrea McKnight '22GS

Andrea Mcknight is an Associate at Quadrant Strategies in New York City. She joined Quadrant in January 2022 after completing her studies at Columbia University School of General Studies with a B.A. in Sociology. Prior to consulting, Andrea spent nearly a decade advancing her career in retail management, ultimately serving as the Consumer Experience Department Manager at the Converse Global Flagship store in New York City. 

Kennedy Roese '22GS

Kennedy Roese is New York-based management consultant for Oliver Wyman with experience working with Fortune 100 clients to design and implement business strategy. Kennedy graduated cum laude from Columbia School of General Studies in December 2021 with a B.A. in Art History and Archaeology and a special concentration in Business Management, and was a member of the 2021 Senior Honors Thesis cohort in the Art History department. Prior to graduating, Kennedy was a professional dancer for 5 years and performed with the Pennsylvania Ballet and contemporary ballet companies in New York City as a freelance artist.

Wylie Wong '14GS

Wylie Wong has over six years of consulting experience and is currently a Strategic Finance Associate at Accordion, a leading private equity-focused financial and technology consulting firm. In this role, he advises his clients, private equity-backed companies, on strategic financial planning and analysis projects. Prior to this, Wylie was a Senior Associate at Huron for two years specializing in higher education strategy and operations and a Systems Associate at Metis for three and a half years, working on social impact research and technology implementation with nonprofits and governmental agencies. Wylie received an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2020, a B.A. in Mathematics-Statistics from Columbia University in 2014, and an A.A. in Business Administration from the Borough of Manhattan Community College in 2011.
