Position Description
Dr. Goldenberg’s hematology/oncology practice, Manhattan Hematology Oncology Associates, is seeking student volunteers to join their team.
Students who volunteer will learn what it is to provide care for long-term patients, and will be exposed to the administrative side as well as the clinical side. Those who are interested in research or pharmaceuticals will have opportunities to learn about that as well.
Responsibilities include:
- Streamlining patient care and patient care coordination
- Completing general daily operational tasks
- Maintaining the inventory and overseeing regulatory maintenance
- Entering and filing data
- Identifying eligible participants for our open trials
- Handling some patient communications
Time Commitment
Part-time (weekdays from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m); there is no minimum time commitment, but whatever hours you choose to commit must remain consistent through the end date of your choosing
