Position Description
The Columbia University Department of Neurology Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and Aging Brain is seeking a research assistant to assist with studies relating to Alzheimer's research. The candidate, under the supervision and direction of the principal investigator will help the research team analyze PET MRI data with advanced software packages. The candidate will then input all of the data collected into a computerized database. The candidate will have an opportunity to interact with research participants during study visits, including neuroimaging procedures (MRI and PET scans). Opportunities are also available for training in administering a neuropsychological test battery and PET image analysis and other research procedures.
Position Requirements
- Must have a bachelors degree
Time Commitment
Part-time, 10 hours per week between Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Compensation
$24.66 per hour
