Position Description
Empower Through Health (ETH) is seeking Field & Research Directors (FRD) who are passionate about making a real-world impact on global healthcare delivery through innovative global health research and experiential leadership for Winter 2023/2024 or Summer 2024. FRDs will manage longitudinal research projects and essential administrative tasks, while receiving mentorship and valuable research experience. FRDs will live with Ugandan staff at ETH headquarters in Iganga, Uganda for a term of one year, and receive free housing and transportation, as well as a cost-of-living stipend. Successful completion of all duties may lead to future leadership opportunities within the organization.
Responsibilities Include

- Project management
- Communications including social media
- Administrative tasks
Position Requirements
- Completed degree from a four-year accredited university by Summer 2024 (or Winter 2023 to start in Jan/Feb 2024)
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a minimum commitment of one year
