Position Description
ADAPT Lab is currently seeking a research assistant/Tech B to work with the Department of Neurology, G.H. Sergievsky Center on clinical studies involving patients with Alzheimer's disease, related disorders, and healthy volunteers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting other lab members in conducting research participant visits
- Ensuring appropriate reporting to regulatory boards such as the Institutional Review Board and the Food and Drug Administration
- Assisting research staff in processing data for lab studies after training to process PET and MR images
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, related science, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Demonstrated experience and/or keen interest in neuroscience clinical research
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual eager to contribute to scientific advancements
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to maintain meticulous record-keeping
- Exceptional communication and writing abilities to effectively convey research findings and collaborate with colleagues
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also capable of independently driving projects forward
- Bilingual in spoken and written English and Spanish
Time Commitment
Full-time, 35 hours per week
Compensation
$51,839 per year
