Position Description
The Targoff Lab, Department of Pediatrics and Columbia Stem Cell Initiative at Columbia University Medical Center is looking for a technician to join their team in investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular development and regeneration. The Targoff Lab primarily uses zebrafish as a model system, expanding studies into the fields of transcriptional regulation, cardiac mechanobiology, and stem cell biology using an innovative combination of genetic, live-imaging, single cell genomic, and transgenic approaches. The Research Technician will learn skills related to molecular biology, zebrafish husbandry, confocal microscopy, and cardiac injury to study regenerative potential in the adult zebrafish heart.
