Position Description
The Clinical Scholars Program aims to provide two paid research internships each year to recent college graduates who aspire to a medical career. Scholars selected for the program re paired with mentors who are active clinical/research physicians, epidemiologists, research coordinators, and other staff as part of a comprehensive research and clinical education curriculum. This position focuses on research activities in cardiovascular medicine at St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center along with significant opportunities for clinical shadowing. Scholars will learn from and collaborate with their research teams with opportunities to contribute to scientific publications, and attend national scientific meetings.
Position Requirements
- Must have Bachelor's degree or bee graduating in May to apply
- GPA of 3.6 or higher
