Position Description
Drs. Gilmore and Beekman are recruiting a research associate to head the cardiac arrest research group. They are looking for a candidate to manage a retrospective and prospective cardiac arrest registry, assist with the development and monitoring of key quality metrics, and facilitate cardiac arrest research projects. Research associates will gain extensive clinical experience by interacting with critically ill patients in the emergency room and intensive care units and working collaboratively with the medical team. Associates are welcome and encouraged to attend department conferences, lectures, and rounds.
Responsibilities Include:
- Involvement in ongoing clinical research projects, including data collection, data entry, preprocessing and computational analysis
- Opportunities for grant writing, abstract and manuscript preparation, and to present at conferences

Time Commitment
Full-time, with one-year commitment
