Position Description
The Morishita Lab is seeking a full-time research assistant to participate in the studies of cortical mechanisms of cognitive behavior relevant to psychiatric disorders. This position provides an opportunity to gain significant research in an interdisciplinary lab environment, as well as to contribute to papers. The position focuses on rodent behavioral study of cognitive circuits relevant to neurodevelopmental disorders.
Responsibilities include:

Conducting touchscreen based cognitive testing, data analysis, histologist characterization, and exposure to advanced circuit manipulations and measurements
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required
- Background in neuroscience a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment starting June 1, 2022.
