Position Description
ODA Primary Health Care Network is seeking a medical scribe to relieve the physician (or P.A, N.P) of clerical duties thus allowing the physician to focus more directly on clinical care.
Responsibilities include:
- Observing the physician during patient encounters and performing documentation on the physician’s behalf
- Entering information into the patient’s medical record
- Accessing past medical records, lab results and visit history for the physician to review
Position Requirements:
- Computer proficient
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
- One year of typing experience a plus
- One year of experience with medical terminology a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, Mon. and Tues. from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wed. from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fri. from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and alternating Sun. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
