Position Description
SKC Dermatology of Dr. Sunny Chun, DO, is seeking to hire a medical assistant.
SKC Dermatology is a state-of-the-art dermatology practice located in Paramus, NJ (~15 minutes away from NYC) which prides itself on providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and sees a diverse group of patients, from pediatric to geriatric. As part of a small team, medical assistants will have the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities. The various roles include medical assisting and working at the front desk as a patient ambassador. There is also the opportunity to assist in procedures, ranging from surgical excision to cosmetic procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling appointments
- Assisting with procedures
- Performing patient intake
- Scribing and completing appointment notes
Position Requirements
- Interest in a career in medicine and eagerness to learn
- Hard-working and reliable
- Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
Time Commitment
Full-time, with at least one-year commitment. Medical assistants with have most Fridays off as the office only sees patients Monday through Thursday. SKC Dermatology is also accommodating and understanding of the flexible schedule that may be required during the medical school application process.
