Position Description
The Cognitive Psychophysiology Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine is seeking a clinical research coordinator to join a multidisciplinary team and work on a MRI study. Specifically, this study will examine neurobiological changes over time in healthy controls, individuals with schizotypal personality disorder, and recent-onset schizophrenia patients in order to better understand mechanisms of risk and resilience in the schizophrenia spectrum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, screening, enrolling, and obtaining informed consent from participants in the community to participate in research.
  • Maintaining participant information in accordance with IRB regulatory procedures.
  • Assisting in preparation of IRB documentation for protocol submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
  • Communicating regularly with the study team to ensure completion of all study procedures.
  • Assisting in data collection and analysis.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field
  • Some research training in cognitive neuroscience and/or clinical psychology.
  • Experience with statistics (e.g., coursework, senior honor thesis including statistical analysis, etc.) a plus.
  • Willingness to commit to a 2-3 year position

Time Commitment
Full-time, starting June 1st, 2020, with a willingness to commit to a 2-3 year position
