Position Description
The Yale Cerebrovascular Lab is recruiting one postgraduate research associate to join their group for a two-year position starting as soon as possible.
The Petersen lab researches cerebral hemodynamics and how they are impaired by neurologic injury. After exciting findings detailing the risks of impaired autoregulation, current projects are focusing on intervention mechanisms aimed at maintaining blood pressure within personalized limits of autoregulation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing manuscripts and presentations
- Training in cerebral oxygenation monitoring and state-of-the-art blood pressure monitoring
- Designing and coordinating clinical trials, using IRB management, medical record abstraction
- Interacting with patients
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience in research a plus
- Experience with statistical analysis a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, commitment of two years
Compensation
$38K per year
