Position Description
Dr. Elan D. Louis, the chairman of the Department of Neurology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), is hiring full-time paid clinical research assistants (RAs) for a 2-year position beginning in late spring/ summer of 2023.
RAs will be involved in the study of Cognition in Essential Tremor, the Essential Tremor Brain Bank, and pilot studies on Essential Tremor (ET).
Responsibilities include:
- Traveling within the US to conduct in-person visits (or remotely via Zoom), which include neuro-psychological testing and videotaped neurological examinations
- Contributing to study design and data collection
- Publishing scientific research articles
- Conducting independent research
Position Requirements
- BA, BS, or Master’s degree
- Valid driver’s license
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment.
