Position Description
Puleston Lab in the Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is looking for an Associate Researcher to join their collaborative team implementing pioneering approaches to study human disease across immunology, cancer, and organ transplantation. Reporting to Dr. Daniel Puleston and Dr. Zeeshan Akhtar, the successful candidate will be exposed to a range of cutting-edge technologies, including state-of-the-art metabolomics, mass spectrometry, and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the perfusion of human organs for research or clinical transplantation
  • Helping in the conduct of pre-clinical research studies using models of infection and tumor development
  • Helping to maintain human organs ex vivo to study human pathology

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related area
  • 0-2 years of research, laboratory experience

Full-time

Compensation
$30K-$66K
