Position Description
The Tisch Cancer Institute (Division of Hematology-Oncology), the Black Family Stem Cell Institute, and the Department of Cell, Developmental and Regenerative Biology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking an associate researcher to work closely with a senior member of the lab as well as other members of the group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing cell culture and molecular and biochemical and cellular using flow cytometry, RT-PCR, and other approaches; 
  • Handling of laboratory mice, genotyping, and tracking of mouse colonies

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the biomedical sciences (e.g. biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a research lab is required, preferably on an independent project such as for a senior honors thesis

Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment.
