Commencement Virtual Ceremony

It is during Commencement that each student's degree is officially conferred. All of Columbia’s 18 schools, colleges, and affiliated institutions participate in this event, and more than 30,000 graduates and their guests are expected to tune in.

It is during Commencement that each student's degree is officially conferred. All of Columbia’s 18 schools, colleges, and affiliated institutions participate in this event, and more than 30,000 graduates and their guests are expected to tune in.

The Commencement speaker is traditionally the University President, and the ceremony includes awards to honorary degree recipients and outstanding Columbia professors.

The virtual ceremony will be webcast live, as well as archived, on the webcast page of the Columbia Commencement website.
