Thanks to enthusiastic engagement by the GS community, GS came in first place among its peer schools in the Overall Dollar Challenge.

Giving Day is an annual online fundraising event that encourages alumni, students, parents, and friends of the University to come together to support schools and programs and help them win prizes in matching funds. October 20 marked Columbia University's tenth annual Giving Day.

Across the University, Columbians changed lives that change the world, raising $27,913,242 through 21,359 gifts for the causes, schools, and programs that support the University's students and further its global mission of research, teaching, patient care, and partnerships to solve the pressing challenges of our time, from climate change to social justice, and more.
