Responsibilities
- Serving as a student liaison between CVTI and student veteran groups at Columbia University
- Maintaining leadership rosters for all student veteran and military-related groups across the university
- Collecting, cataloguing, and storing governing documents for student veteran groups
- Organizing monthly student veteran leadership meetings
- Conducting annual after action report of student veteran group activities in conjunction with CVTI director and student leaders
- Compiling and publishing annual report on lessons learned and best practices for student veteran groups at Columbia
- Conducting research and writing on student veteran groups and student veteran transition challenges, as directed
- Providing (TBD) weekly office hours in the Columbia Student Veterans Center
- Attending and contributing to internal CVTI meetings and projects
Preferred Qualifications
Currently enrolled student with familiarity or involvement with the Columbia University student veteran landscape.
Time Commitment
5 - 10 hours per week (flexible)
Compensation
$17 per hour
