Columbia Veterans Celebrated at Yellow Ribbon Program Inauguration

More than 200 guests joined the United States Military Veterans of Columbia University to celebrate the inauguration of the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The inaugural event, co-sponsored by the Columbia University Division of Student & Administrative Services, the School of General Studies, and the Office of Alumni and Development, featured Senator Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey as the keynote speaker.     

The Yellow Ribbon Program is an unprecedented federal program that increases the affordability and accessibility of private universities like Columbia for veterans who served after September 11, 2001.
