The 2020 Columbia Student Well-Being Survey was emailed to all students across Columbia University on Monday, February 10 and it will run through Friday, March 6. The survey will be administered by DataStat, a third-party organization, and the email invitation will come from the address [email protected].

The goal of the survey is to learn directly from students about their experiences with the campus climate, health behaviors, mental health and well-being, and sexual respect. Student feedback will guide and inspire future efforts to strengthen campus life and enhance student resources.

Upon survey completion, students will automatically be entered to win prizes including tickets to “Hamilton,” “Hadestown” and New York Yankees’ and Knicks’ games, electronics, spa packages and $200 gift cards.

The last Student Well-Being Survey in 2018 — with almost 30% of students participating — prompted concrete enhancements to student life, such as more well-being activities and additional support for financial planning, including the launch of Columbia.iGrad.com, the free personal finance and student loan tracking platform.
