Students Help Fund Cutting-Edge Breast Cancer Research

November 16, 2007

In 2007, more than 12,000 cases of breast cancer were diagnosed in New York State. In response to this staggering statistic, 35 Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program students more than tripled their fundraising goal and raised more than $6,000 for the American Cancer Society.

The money raised was a part of the Team Postbac's participation in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” on Oct. 21 in Central Park.
