A blacksmith's widow; a future dentist; a Shakespearean actress.  Amy-Kristina Herbert, a Postbaccalareate Premedical student was featured in "TimeOut New York's Public Eye" column for her diverse career focus as a future dentist and an actress.

In 2004, Herbert was featured on the PBS show "Colonial House" as on of 12 people who travel back in time and find out what early American colonial life was really like.  Herbert, who has an MFA in classical theater, said: "...dentistry and acting are related.  The condition of people's teeth affects how they carry themselves."
