Columbia GS alumnus Menachem Kaiser was awarded a Fulbright scholarship.

GS alumnus Menachem Kaiser '09 was recently awarded a Fulbright scholarship in the 2009-2010 competition.  Kaiser is spending the year in Lithuania studying the current state of Yiddish Studies in Lithuanian universities. 

The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and is is the largest international exchange program in the United States.

Prior to being awarded the Fulbright scholarship, Kaiser wrote for the Atlantic, The Huffington Post and The New Yorker
