Alumni Shared Their Stories at New Student Orientation

September 1, 2010

More than 50 incoming students gathered in the GS Lounge during New Student Orientation to hear GS alumni share their GS experiences. Hermia Nelson '98, co-founder of Compassion Happens, Inc.; Richard M. Space Jr. '05, an Associate in Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch; and Pavan Surapaneni '06, an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, all shared their personal stories. The panelists discussed how they made their way to GS, their successful professional paths after graduation, and their current roles as engaged alumni. Their candid stories inspired the incoming students and demonstrated the importance of the student-alumni connection.
