The Mount Sinai Health System has a unique program to identify and treat delirium ꟷ a sudden severe decline in mental health characterized by confusion and caused by a medical condition. This information session will discuss opportunities for premeds to volunteer in this program. Volunteers learn about delirium and interact with patients at risk for delirium in an effort to improve their cognitive health.
