Application Launchpad, Session VII: Traffic Rules

April 9, 2021
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
America/New_York
Online

The AAMC has established guidelines for the actions of both applicants and admissions officers during an application cycle, once offers of admission are extended. These are commonly referred to as “traffic rules” since they are designed to shape the flow of the application process, insure fairness and civility, and keep things moving to insure that no seat in a school’s entering class goes unfilled. What are these rules? What is the rationale behind them? Where can you learn more about them? What are the expectations of applicants generally? The Zoom link to participate will be emailed to registrants prior to the start of the event. If you have not received the Zoom link at the event start time, please email [email protected].

The Application Launchpad Events Series

The Application Launchpad Events Series is intended for GS premeds (postbacs and undergrads) who have recently submitted an internal application toward applying in the general application cycle for the Entering Class of 2022 (EC22). The spring semester sessions continue discussions of MCAT and the application year, subjects explored last fall. We hope these discussions help to inform individual consultations you may have with your advisor.
