Dean Inglis joined GS in 2019 with a strong background in teaching and academic advising. From 2015 to 2019, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Theological Studies and as an academic advisor to nontraditional students at Bethany Theological Seminary. Dean Inglis’ teaching focused on the intersection of theology, social justice, ecology, and environmental ethics. In addition to his role at Bethany, he was also a teaching fellow at Fordham University, where he completed his Ph.D. in Theology, before spending two years as a human rights worker in Guatemala. In addition to academic advising at GS, Dean Inglis provides academic support to students participating in the Columbia joint program with the Jewish Theological Seminary.
