Position Description
Nightingale Eye Associates is seeking a motivated individual to work as an ophthalmic tech. The position provides an excellent clinical experience for an individual interested in clinical medicine. Our office would provide all training. The physician is happy and eager to sponsor pre-med students in their applications.
Responsibilities Include
- Taking medical history
- Performing visual acuity assessments
- Performing intraocular pressure measurements
- Ophthalmic diagnostics: fundus photos, OCT macula, OCT optic nerve
- Performing ophthalmic exams
Position Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree
- Must have an interest in working in a clinical environment
Time Commitment
Part-time, with a minimum of 20 hours per week
