Position Description
The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a summer research trainee to begin in the early summer (mid May or early June).
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with recruitment of research participants for clinical research trials and activities related to diabetes
- Assisting with writing research documents including presentations, manuscripts, grant proposals, and journal articles
- Conducting data analysis for existing research studies
- Keeping study specifics and methods up to date for each research protocol
- Supporting Global Diabetes Institute team members in developing programs (including scheduling, travel, expenses, fund-raising)
Position Requirements
- Significant experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, as well as reference software (e.g., EndNote, RefWorks, etc.) a plus
- Interest in patient education in both local and global communities a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time (37.5 hours per week) starting in end of May or early June 2020 and lasting through early August 2020
