Position Description
Dr. William C. Kreisl’s lab at The Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain is seeking a Technician B to assist with studies in their lab.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing PET and MRI data with advanced software packages
- Inputting all of the data collected into a computerized database
- Interacting with research participants during study visits, including neuroimaging procedures (MRI and PET scans)
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Ability to use computers and learn new programs to collect data for a computer-based database
- Comfortable with Windows OS and Excel
- Eventual completion of training modules in IRB-approved courses such as Columbia University Subjects Protection and HIPAA training modules
Time Commitment
Full-time, 35 hours per week
