Position Description
The Yale University Hoffman Lab is seeking a research associate.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting research, working with the principal investigator to plan, design, and perform experiments.
- Performing high-throughput behavioral experiments and drug screens to identify abnormal behaviors in zebrafish mutants of autism risk genes.
- Maintaining the lab, including organizing databases, placing orders, maintaining stock solutions.
- Assisting in maintenance of zebrafish facility. Breed and genotype zebrafish to maintain genetic lines.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Previous experience in basic science research a plus
