Position Description
The Liang Lab in the Department of Neuroscience at Yale University is looking for a postgraduate student to help in developing and performing mouse visual behavioral task in awake, head-fixed mice.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing stereotaxic brain surgery, histology, and epifluorescence/confocal imaging
- Assisting two-photon imaging acquisition and data analysis
- Participating at weekly lab meetings/journal clubs and attending research seminars
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology-related field
- Experience with Matlab is a plus
- Prior research experience in mice is a plus
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a minimum commitment of one-year
