Position Description
The Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is seeking experienced individuals for a paid internship. With the guidance of faculty, research assistants will learn to perform chart reviews, conduct in-depth interviews, administer in-person and online surveys, run focus groups, analyze and code transcripts, and analyze primary and secondary data.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting faculty with ongoing research projects
- Providing administrative support to the team, including scheduling and preparing for meetings, training, and presentations.
- Drafting and editing research study manuscripts.
- Taking the lead in managing all facets of clinical studies.
- Assisting in quality and performance improvement projects
- Managing various administrative, clinical, and project responsibilities as they arise.
- Assisting in preparing for the divisions yearly regional Pediatric Emergency Medicine conference.
Time Commitment
Full-time, with a minimum commitment of one year
