Position Description
The Ji Lab at Mount Sinai is hiring an associate researcher interested in projects involving cutting-edge single-cell and spatial technologies and CRISPR screens to understand tumor heterogeneity in cancer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working directly with the PI in both experimental (wet lab) and computational (dry lab) techniques
  • Managing the lab by completing tasks such as ordering supplies and reagents that will be shared among lab members 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in the biological sciences 
  • Prior laboratory experience as an undergraduate, including knowledge of standard molecular biology techniques such as cell culture, cloning, PCR, and Western blot
  • Experience with “omics” techniques and associated data analysis a plus 
  • Background in experimental or computational work a plus

Time Commitment
Full-time, with a two-year commitment starting in September 2021.
