GS Academic Calendar 2013–2014

The following Academic Calendar was correct and complete when compiled; however, the University reserves the right to revise or amend it, in whole or in part, at any time. Information on the current status of the University Academic Calendar may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar.

 

Summer Term 2013

JUNE

1

Saturday. Last day to apply for Regular Decision admission to the School of General Studies for Fall 2013 enrollment.

3

Monday. Last day to make registration changes (add/drop courses) for the first six-week session of the summer term. Courses officially dropped by this date do not incur tuition charges.

10-14

Monday-Friday. Online Course registration for the Fall 2013 Term.

17-21

Monday-Friday. Online Course registration for the Fall 2013 Term.

JULY

3-8

Wednesday–Monday. Registration, including payment of fees, for the second six-week summer session. Students who register after these dates must pay a late fee.

Friday. First six-week summer session ends.

Monday. Second six-week summer session begins.

9-12

Tuesday–Friday. Change of Program and Late Registration. Students who register after these dates will be assessed an additional fee.

Fall Term 2013

Tuesday. Last day to drop individual courses without incurring the mark of "W." Late drops must be approved by a student's advisor. Courses dropped by this deadline are charged at full tuition but do not appear on a student's transcript.

Tuesday. Deadline for submitting the GS Study Abroad clearance form to the Dean of Students Office for students interested in studying abroad for the spring term
