Researching Linkage Programs
Researching Linkage Programs
Early in the fall term, students considering linkage should take the following steps:
- Attend the linkage program information session held by the Postbac Premed Program advisors
- Visit linkage schools, and speak with admissions officers, faculty, and medical students, and tour its facilities. The Premedical Office arranges for visits to several linkage schools.
- Consult with their premedical advisor about his or her interest in linkage and about the specific schools in which he or she is interested. Premedical advisors will help determine whether a student is a reasonably strong candidate for specific schools. Such consultations may increase the likelihood of nomination.
