Columbia University's School of General Studies marks with great sorrow the passing of Lionel I. Pincus. Mr. Pincus was a devoted Columbian and his legacy of service and leadership will live for years to come at the University. The School of General Studies extends profound sympathy to his long-time companion, Princess Firyal of Jordan, a graduate of the School and a member of the Columbia University International Advisory Council.
