Israel Information Session Announced

August 13, 2012

Event Date & Time: Sun., Sept. 2, 6-8 p.m.
Location: Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers, The Emerald Hall, 115 Hayarkon Street, Tel Aviv 63573, Israel

The School of General Studies (GS) will be making a recruitment trip to Israel for the first time in the school’s history. Matthew Rotstein, Director of Admissions, will present an Information Session on September 2, 2012 at the Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers.

Historically, Israeli students have made significant contributions within the Columbia community and are one of the largest international student populations within GS. Currently, more than 25 students from Israel are completing their undergraduate degree at GS, most of whom bring to the classroom life experiences from their service in the Israeli Defense Forces, from travels around the world, and from work experiences in business, the arts, and politics.

Whether you’re from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, or beyond, come meet us this September and discover the potential to join your fellow Israelis who have already unlocked the rewards of a rigorous Ivy League education designed for nontraditional students.

Registration is required to attend. To reserve a spot, sign up as soon as possible.
