Upper East Side Plastic Surgery Practice
Position Description
The Upper East Side Plastic Surgery Practice is seeking a medical assistant. Ideally, the candidate has completed the postbac premed program, and would like a year of clinical experience.
Applicants must be personable, well-spoken, have excellent computer skills and be willing and able to learn quickly. The MA will have many clinical responsibilities and learning opportunities, working closely with the Plastic Surgeon, seeing patents before, during and after surgery in the in-office operating room. The MA will be trained by the current MA as well as the Plastic Surgeon.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administrative duties such as preparing patients' paperwork prior to surgery, answering patient calls and emails, and scheduling patients and ordering supplies
Position Requirements
- Graduate of the Postbac Premed program
Time Commitment
Full-time, one-year commitment
